Microsoft One Drive Integration - Admin Configuration

Microsoft OneDrive Integration with Performance & Talent

Employees can add context to Check-ins and Objectives by uploading files and images to their OneDrive account directly from Performance & Talent. The link or image is then displayed in Check-In Notes and Objective comments.

This feature is useful for showcasing proof of achieving objectives and capturing whiteboard or notebook photos from conversations.

How it Works

The Microsoft OneDrive integration feature is switched off by default. To enable it, go to the Integrations section on the Admin Settings.

Once enabled, an attachment (paperclip) icon appears on the objective comments section. When this icon is selected, employees may see a pop-up asking them to authenticate with their Microsoft account. After authentication, they can choose a file to upload to their check-in.

The selected file link is added to the check-in note or objective comment. Employees must add some text to the check-in note or objective comments before saving.

Troubleshooting

If employees encounter an error message indicating that Admin approval is required, additional configuration may be needed by the IT team. The IT team can refer to Microsoft's documentation on "Consent Workflow" for more information:
