What are Talent Snapshots?
Talent Snapshots are the way your business is able to measure and review your teams performance and behaviours.
Depending on how your business has chosen to conduct Talent Snapshots they could be:
- answered only by you as a manager
- answered collaboratively by both managers and your team members
- answered without any manager collaboration
You may go through this process one or more times each year, each time you complete a Talent Snapshot is called a 'Round'.
How do I complete a Talent Snapshot for a member of my team?
To answer a Talent Snapshot for your Team:
- Select Talent Snapshots > My Team's Talent Snapshots
This is where you will be able to answer and view your Team's Talent Snapshots.
You will see all Talent Snapshots you have been asked to complete, including their status, deadline date and button to answer the questions.

You will also have access to My Talent Snapshots for your own snapshots and My Closed Snapshots for your own previous snapshots.
- If you wish, you can filter this screen by Talent Snapshot Status and/or Deadline Date.
To do this select Filters, once you have selected your filter options, select Apply

- To answer a Talent Snapshot round select Answer
You will see that the employees included within the round are displayed in the right hand Employees section.
The employee you are answering the question for will be highlighted in blue. If you wish to answer in a different order, select Answer underneath the employee name.

- To help you reflect on an employee's performance and support you in answering their Talent Snapshot...
- If you want to view their previous Talent Snapshot answers
Select View your previous Talent Snapshots
- If you want to view their other data such as Performance Objectives, Personal Development Objectives, Feedback and Conversation Notes
Select View your summary

- You can also generate a Summary report for each employee.
These can be generated for the last 3 months, 6 months, 12 months or a Custom Report Period.
To do this select Summary > Reports > Generate Report

- When answering each employee Talent Snapshot, you will be able to select your responses.
If there are employee questions, you will have visibility of the employee's answers.
You can use Save progress at any time to save your answers.
- Once you are happy with your responses, click Mark as Complete.
You will be asked if you are sure you wish to mark as complete.

- Select Mark as complete
- Your administrator may have configured the Talent Snapshot Round to share answers automatically with the employee.
If this is the case, you will be prompted that your responses will be automatically shared. You will need to confirm that you wish to go ahead.
- If your administrator has not selected that answers are automatically shared with the employee, when you mark as complete, the status will change from 'To Do' to 'Complete'.
Whilst the round is open, you can still view and edit any of your final submitted responses until the administrator has placed the round into a Frozen status.
- If you want to review the Talent Snapshot answers, even after all responses have been complete, go to Talent Snapshots > My Team's Talent Snapshots.
