My Team - Private Notes
The My Team area provides a private notes feature that offers a place for managers to capture an unlimited amount of notes related to their direct report(s). These notes are private and cannot be viewed by the direct report.
These private notes can be a good tool to keep all of your notes in one place.
This can be used to capture:
- Notes on behaviours or outcomes that have been observed
- Reminders of topics to discuss during next check-in
- A general log of notes regarding a probation period
- A reminder of observations to give as positive feedback or recognition
If the direct report transfers to a new manager, the note will not transfer to the new manager. It will go into a dormant state, only accessible if the reporting relationship is restored.
