NOTIFICATIONS

Clear Review sends a combination of action based and time based notifications to end users. Action based notifications are triggered by events such as when an objective is sent for approval, or a check-in is scheduled.

Time based notifications send reminders based on certain time parameters. These are optional and need to be enabled via Admin > Notifications. View a full list of system notifications here.

Time based Notifications

By default, the system will send out periodic time-based notifications to users and managers such as the weekly manager team update email.

  • If you do not wish your users to receive these (for example because you have not yet fully launched the system), you can switch them off by changing this setting to "No". You can switch it back to Yes at any time.
  • Quick summary of time based notifications (when turned on via the Admin area) are highlighted below:
    • Check-ins: when pass the minimum expected time (as set in Admin), an email notification is triggered to employee and manager
    • Objectives: when sent for approval, and is not approved after one week, a notification is triggered to the manager
    • Feedback: when an individual has not received or given feedback in 4 weeks
    • Managers: receive a Weekly “Your Team” email (sent every Friday) which contains a team summary of required actions; overdue check-ins, overdue actions and objectives and feedback needs
