Enabling Multiple Conversation Types
Updated by Customer Success
Nurture better managers and engagement by offering additional configurable conversations for employees to use.
Admins can configure additional conversation types with their own prompts for discussion and control the conversation’s visibility to specific departments or at specific periods of the year.
How it works:
Admins can gain access to the Configure Conversations page from the Check-ins section of their admin page. On this page, admins will see suggested Career Conversation, Wellbeing Conversation, Re-alignment Conversation, Onboarding Conversation, and End of Probation Conversation available. The visibility of these conversations has been turned off by default.
Each of these Conversations has their own prompts for discussion tailored to the purpose and desired outcomes of the conversation. We have also added a one-line description of the conversation to make it easier for employees to decide if the conversation is relevant to the situation.
You can configure and change the conversation name, one-line description and prompts for discussion by clicking on the edit button on the bottom-right of the box.
To make one of these template conversations visible to your employees, click on the grey toggle button. Once toggled on, it will indicate that it is visible to employees.
Once a conversation is made visible, it will appear as an Available Conversation on your employees Conversation page, together with the one-line description.
Different conversations can also be scheduled using the + Add Check-in scheduling experience.
Configurations
Add your own custom Conversation Types
If there is a particular conversation type you wish to add and make visible to your employees, click on the Add Conversation Type button at the bottom of the Conversation Type page, and add a title for the conversation, an optional one-line description, and the prompts for discussion.
If you switch on additional conversation types, we recommend changing "Check-ins" to "Conversations" on your System Terminology page".
Making conversations visible only to specific Org Units
If you wish to make the conversation visible only to employees from a particular department, demography or geography, you can do this by assigning conversation types to org units.
