Analytics API End of Life Notification
We would like to inform you that the current version of our Performance & Talent (Clear Review) Analytics API will soon be classified as end-of-life (EOL)
Why we’re doing this
Our current Analytics API has been a valuable tool for many years. However, as our user base grows and our technology scales, it has become increasingly challenging to maintain and support.
We want to give you the best experience possible for now and for the future. To do this we need to provide you with a more robust and efficient solution. To achieve this, we will be transitioning to a new API architecture.
What is happening and when is it happening
There are two critical dates to bring to your attention:
· September 30th 2024: After this date the current Analytics API will no longer receive security updates or maintenance support. l
· December 31st 2024: After this date the current Analytics API will be officially retired, and all services will be discontinued.
What this will give you
As your dedicated technology partner, we are committed to ensuring a smooth transition to our new Analytics API. The new APIs are built on a modern architecture, following best practices to provide enhanced performance and reliability. We have resolved the issues found in the current API and incorporated your valuable feedback to enhance usability and add new features.
These improvements include faster response rates, additional endpoints for objective comments and deliverables, feedback request options (ignore and retract), and enhanced summary details for Talent Snapshots.
We remain committed to listening to your feedback and continuously improving the APIs, adding new functionalities to meet your data needs.
What you need to do and how we can help
Your customer success team will contact you in the coming weeks to guide you through the transition, highlighting key differences and connecting you with technical support to help your transition.
What happens if you do nothing
After the maintenance support ends on September 30th 2024, the current API may continue to function, but without any guarantees of availability or security. Additionally, any new data generated within the system after this date will not be reflected through the APIs.
Post the end-of-life date on December 31st 2024, the current APIs will be deactivated, and will cease to operate.
We highly recommend transitioning to the new APIs in a timely manner to avoid disruptions to your services. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding, and please get in touch if you have any questions.
