Federated Customer - Migration plan - Single Sign On

Tom Mullen Updated by Tom Mullen

This migration plan will help you successfully migrate to the OneAdvanced Identity service, and involves a collaborative effort between you as the customer and the Performance & Talent (Clear Review) team.

  1. Nominate a portal admin: Send the following details of your nominated technical contact to cr.clarissa@oneadvanced.com

First Name

Last Name

Example.Email@Example.com

This individual will use the self-service portal to manage your Single Sign On the configuration.

  1. Create a new Enterprise Application: You will need to create a new application within your federation provider (e.g., Azure AD).
Crucial Note: It is vital that you create a new application and do not update your existing one. Updating the old application will break your current integration before we are ready to switch.
  1. Schedule the Migration: Once the new application is configured and tested on your side, please contact cr.clarissa@oneadvanced.com to schedule a date and time for the final switch.
  2. Migration Execution: The migration itself will involve a planned downtime of approximately 60 to 120 minutes. During this window, we will migrate all your users to our new platform service. The diagram below illustrates the migration journey.
  1. Recommended Preparation (Optional): To help streamline the migration process, we recommend that any users in Performance & Talent who have left the business and are outside their data retention period are removed from the application beforehand. This is not mandatory but will reduce the number of users requiring migration.
