Non Federated Customer - Migration plan

Tom Mullen Updated by Tom Mullen

This migration plan will help you successfully migrate to the OneAdvanced Identity service, and involves a collaborative effort between you as the customer and the Performance & Talent (Clear Review) team.

  1. Nominate a portal admin: Send the following details of your nominated contact to cr.clarissa@oneadvanced.com

First Name

Last Name

Example.Email@Example.com

This individual will use the self-service portal to manage your Single Sign On the configuration.

All user management should still be completed in the Performance & Talent user screens, with the exception of user deletion which requires the Portal admin to perform an additional step of deleting the user account in the self-service portal.
  1. Ensure your user list is correct and up to date: In Performance & Talent please ensure that your user list is up to date.
To improve the performance of the user migration and ensure data quality, we advise that you ensure your user data in Performance & Talent is up to date e.g email addresses are correct, names are correct, users who can be deleted (outside of data retention period) have been removed.
  1. Migration Date Confirmed: Performance & Talent will be migrating non-federated customers to Identity in predefined waves, you will be allocated a date and time where you migration will occur.
A specially developed application will run through your list of users and migrate them to the new service, during this period those users who have not been migrated will be unable to access the system. We estimate the entire process will take 30-60 Minutes.
  1. Welcome Emails received: As the migration is completed for each user they will receive a welcome email from identity@oneadvanced.com which will allow them to create a password and setup their desired method of Multi Factor Authentication.
You will need to ensure that you have white listed identity@oneadvanced.com and informed your users this is a trusted email address.
The password reset link will be valid for 48 hours. Anyone who fails to reset their password in this time will need to restart the reset password process.
More information on the welcome email process can be accessed in this guide.
